Hi.  My name is Beverly and my husband's name is Bill.  We know many of you have seen the great wonders that God has made for us on this earth.  We would like to show you some of His wonders from our little square of Maine inthe Mt. Indian legends say the mountain was belived to be the "Council Place of the Gods" the Pre-Eminent One." They called it "Ktaadn," for pre-emininent "aadn" meaning mountain, Ktaadn was very early spelling.  K teddon meaning big hill. Among other Indian words was Katahdinauguoh said to mean mountains about Ktaadn. Possibly this is the origin of the present-day Magestic Mt. Katahdin.
